Structure

Admission to the PhD programme is subject to UGC regulations (April 2025) and University norms.

Master’s Degree

Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Differently-abled / EWS as per UGC norms)

Candidates with:

A 2 year / 4 semester Master’s degree after a 3-year Bachelor’s degree, or
A 1 year / 2 semester Master’s degree after a 4-year Bachelor’s degree, or
Equivalent foreign qualification recognised by a statutory accreditation authority

Any relaxation or modification shall be made in accordance with UGC guidelines and approved by the Academic Council.

M.Phil. Qualification

M.Phil. degree with minimum 55%
marks or equivalent grade from a recognised

The above-mentioned tuition fee is applicable for the programme duration of 3 years. Candidates who are unable to complete their PhD in 3 years may need to pay an extension fee per semester as applicable at the time.

Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab is established by the Govt of Punjab under Punjab State Act No 22 of 2021 and is recognised by UGC New Delhi under UGC Act 1956.
